Amenah Keshari is an Associate Attorney at Dunbar Harder, PLLC. Ms. Keshari graduated from the University of Houston Honors College in 2010 with B.S. degrees in Political Science and Psychology. She earned her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in 2016. During her J.D. studies, Ms. Keshari was the Review Editor for the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Journal on Gender, Race and Justice.
During law school, Ms. Keshari interned for the Honorable Judge Kathleen Cardone at the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas in El Paso and the Houston Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. She was also a student attorney at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law Immigration Clinic, where she authored an appellate brief for the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the highest administrative body for interpreting and applying immigration laws in the United States.
In 2015, Ms. Keshari was the recipient of the State Bar of Texas Legal Professionalism Award. In addition, she earned three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in recognition of receiving the highest grade in her courses.
Ms. Keshari is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, and the Middle Eastern Lawyers Association.
